Vanuatu business coach Velenie Jacob has officially launched Bisnis Konek, a new online business directory aimed at helping customers easily find and connect with businesses across Vanuatu.
Ms Jacob said many businesses provide quality products and services, but customers often struggle to find them.
She created the directory to give businesses a stronger online presence and make them easier to discover.
The new platform works alongside the popular Bisnis Konek Facebook Group, which has grown to more than 13,000 members.
While the Facebook group allows people to ask questions, advertise products and services, and share business opportunities, the new directory gives each business its own permanent and professional online profile.
Each listing includes contact details, business location, products and services, social media links, photos and other useful information.
Customers can also leave reviews and ratings, helping businesses build trust and credibility.
The directory is open to businesses of all sizes, including retail shops, farmers, caterers, construction companies, transport operators, tourism businesses, beauty salons, accountants, consultants and many others. Jacob is also inviting organisations that provide business training, mentoring and development support to encourage the businesses they work with to register on the platform.
She believes this will help create a stronger and better-connected business community across the country. Her long-term vision is to build Vanuatu’s most trusted business directory, making it easier for customers, investors, government agencies, development partners and entrepreneurs to connect with local businesses.
“This is only the beginning,” Jacob said.
“Every business that joins makes the directory more valuable for everyone. My goal is to create a platform where businesses can be found, build trust through customer reviews, and connect with more opportunities across Vanuatu.” Business owners can register online or complete a registration form available through the Bisnis Konek Vanuatu Facebook page.
Every application is reviewed before publication to ensure business profiles are complete and presented professionally.
